Race Info
Welcome to the Mill Cities Relay! Below you will find essential information to help your team prepare for race day.
Team Entry Fee
- $175 for 5-person teams
- $105 for 3-person teams
Entry fees must be managed by your club’s Mill Cities Representative. Payment is due at the Bib Number and Packet Pickup Meeting on (race - 6).
How to Register
Club Representative must register using the Registration Form by (race - 9), at 5 PM. Team modifications are allowed until (race - 2), at 6 PM.
Managing Team Rosters
It is important to have accurate team rosters on race day. Club Representatives can add and drop teams online until (race - 9), at 5:00 pm. They can continue to modify existing team rosters online until (race - 2), at 6:00 pm. After this date, changes must be submitted in writing to the race timers before the race begins.
Sunshine Start
The Sunshine Start are three person teams. See Categories List below for Divisions. These teams will start at 8:45 am sharp from the second exchange point at Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School, 250 Pawtucket Blvd, Tyngsborough, MA 01879.
Sunset Start
All runners doing the final leg will start at 11:15 am. If the fourth leg runner does not reach the last exchange point by 11:15 am, the final leg runner should be in place and will start at that time. Any time beyond 11:15 am that the fourth leg runner finishes will be added to the team’s total time.

"Women's" division teams must have all female runners.
"Men's" division teams can have any number of female runners.
Parking Alert
Drop-off only parking is allowed at the Nashua Senior Center (start line). For those who wish to leave their cars in Nashua and carpool, please park at the Nashua Public Library.
Parking is not allowed along Route 113 near exchange point 2 (Lowell Technical School). Parking is available near exchange point 3 by the boathouse.
The Sixth Leg Celebration
After the race, join us at Salvatore’s Italian Restaurant for the awards ceremony and celebration. Enjoy soup, pasta, salad, and more as we close the running year with camaraderie and fun.

This event is organized by your Club Representatives and made possible due to the support of your club’s volunteers and the Police Departments of Nashua, Hudson, Tyngsborough, Lowell, and Lawrence. Every participant plays a role in making the Mill Cities Relay successful. Whether you are driving or running, please follow the instructions of volunteers and police officers along the course to ensure a safe event.
